We found the "Tropical Delight" pizza quite undelightful to be polite to it. In truth it was dreadful. The so called "mango" tasting sauce base used in this crap is so awful and tastes so strong that it nullifies whatever flavour there is left in the other ingredients to spare the creators and the tasters of this pizza any dignity.
At first we didn't know what that awful flavour actually was. We just know it originates from the sauce base and it tastes weird. I thought it tasted like Apricot Jam. My two other friends reckoned it was a well disguised BBQ sauce and a tomato based modified puree. We even went to the stage that we were arguing about what awful sauce it was while stuffing ourselves with this blasphemy of a pizza. It feels as though some idiot in the Pizza Hut R&D Department couldn't think of any new flavour to make, grabbed some Apricot flavoured BBQ sauce jam from the fridge in his desperation and spread it under the cheese and the ingredients of this pizza and there u have it! Tropical Dreadful Pizza!
To confirm our suspicions, we stopped one of the waiters to inquire the true origin of the sauce and to our horror, it was actually mango flavoured sauce. We were bemused and laughing sarcastically in the restraunt looking at whats left of the Pizza
So in an attempt to reduce its "awfulness" we tried to dip the pizza in the remaining soup that we had left and that turned out terrible. The mango flavour completely replaced the flavour of the soup and all we had was a mouthful of pizza and soup that tasted like some bad tasting mango syrup that you can buy from the stalls on the side of the road for 20c. Crap! Someone fire the jack ass creating these lousy flavours for Pizza Hut! First the Satay Pizza and now this! Pizza Hut Sdn. Bhd.; if you are reading this heed my call... Fire or demote the jack ass and only serve cream of mushroom for the soup! That will give your companies reputation that is currently in tatters a boost!
